Long Lake living and recreational paradise
Suncrest sits north of Nine Mile Falls in Stevens County, with homes spread through the hills above Lake Spokane and the Spokane River. Expect a mix of newer subdivisions, larger lots and acreage, with boating and fishing close by and Highway 291 as the main road to Spokane. The commute is longer than the in-town neighborhoods, which is the trade for the space and the water.
More land and lake access than you'll find in town, in exchange for a decently long commute, but most folks living up here aren't worried about the drive. Much like Nine Mile below it, the lake, state park, and recreation access is more than worth a few extra minutes in the car.
