Quiet streets and basalt-rim views on the west side of town
Palisades is a west-side neighborhood above Latah Creek and the Spokane River, named for Palisades Park and its basalt cliffs. Homes range from older ranchers and mid-century houses to newer builds with views, and the park's trails are close by. It's a short drive to downtown and the South Hill.
Some of the best views of Spokane are from Palisades Park. You can find acreage and space out here while staying within a short drive to Downtown Spokane. One of our favorite Municipal Golf Courses, Indian Canyon, is right there, and you have easy, quick trail access to the State Park or downtown.

School boundaries and ratings change often. See the schools near Palisades on GreatSchools, and confirm boundaries with the district before relying on them.
Ratings come from FEMA's National Risk Index and flood maps. They describe the area, not any one house. Check a specific address before you buy, and ask your insurance agent about coverage.
